What is the Muscle Confusion Principle?

If you are a fitness freak like me, you must be well aware of the muscle confusion principle. The muscle confusion principle dates back to the 1980’s where its popularity was at its peak among a great deal of bodybuilders.

The science behind this principle was that if you “kept your muscles guessing” by preventing your body from ever adapting to your workouts by doing something completely different every time you entered the gym, thereby preventing stagnation and putting you on the path to incredible muscle growth.

My experiences with P90X

The P90X is a 90-day program that combines a variety of exercise techniques including strength training, cardio, yoga and stretching.

The program claimed to be able to improve physical fitness through a process known as Muscle Confusion but as for me there was no major change in my muscles. This made me question if muscle confusion was suitable for a body type like mine.

Is Muscle Confusion any good?

Muscle confusion is a good fitness program but unfortunately training under this principle usually leads to disappointment and frustration.
This is because in order to achieve significant muscle growth you must follow a mapped out plan which allows you to make progress at each and every workout that can be easily tracked on a daily basis.

This is one of the reasons why I believe P90X did not work in my case because I was not training under a pre-determined plan, thereby not being able to achieve significant muscle growth.

Fortunately for me I discovered an alternative to P90X that allowed me to achieve my dream of having the body that I had always desired.

How is the muscle gaining secret manual is better than p90x for me? What I appreciate most about Muscle Gaining  Secrets is the quality of the content.

It may be overwhelming to some, but it has so much good information and advice about this product. It also comes in an e-book format and is one of the most comprehensive muscle building guides available in the market today.

It contains all the information that you will ever need to know about developing muscles. It has information about warming up, avoiding injuries and that’s on top of all the usual facts about how to rank exercises, number of reps to make and what to eat and drink.

In addition to the Muscle Gaining Secrets book itself you also get a bunch of free bonus books when you buy. This include six of Jason Ferruggia’s other books on fitness.

Shortcomings of the Muscle Gaining Secrets Manual?

Like I mentioned above, there is so much with this product, I would like to have seen a “quick start” guide or something that breaks the product down into more manageable chunks.

It is a lot to swallow and can be a bit intimidating at first. Another disadvantage is that the Muscle Gaining Secrets has some lower quality images and also does not come with a nutrition guide like many other systems do, but it comes with a good meal guide that shows you how to make great meals and will show you how Muscle Confusion was generally not such a good idea when trying to acheive your Body Building Goal.
